Trenewydd Farm is a small group of holiday cottages on 10 acres of land. The site is accessed via  tarmac drive, which divides the cottages with three on each side. The drive curves round to the right, where there is an area of concrete next to the barn and Games area.

Public Transport

Buses travel along the A487 to Haverfordwest via Fishguard and Newport and to Cardigan. Trenewydd Farm is around another mile up the road. We do recommend that guests bring a car for their stay with us to enable visits to local attractions.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is surrounded by stone walls with a fence and gate to the front. The gate is kept locked outside of the pool's opening hours. The pool is not fitted with any specific accessibility aids, nor is there a lifeguard.

Car Parking and offloading

It is possible to offload both luggage and passengers outside each cottage. However, cars may not be left in the entranceway and should be moved to the car parking area. In the summer, or when the grass is dry enough, progress through the gate to park on the field as indicated. If the grass is too wet to be used, you will be directed to a hard standing parking spot.

COTTAGES

Showers

All the cottages have showers over bath and grab trails in the baths. Oak Cottage is the only cottage with a walk in shower which is located upstairs.

Stairs

 Oak Cottage and Maple Cottage are the only two with staircases. Both have stairgates fitted/available. Oak Cottage has a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, so there is no need for guests to access the upstairs area if they do not wish to. In Maple Cottage, the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs and the living area and kitchen is upstairs.

Cosy Cottage has two internal stairs to the bathroom and there is a grab rail on the wall. Cherry Cottage has two steps from the living area to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Ash Cottage and Chestnut Cottage have no internal stairs. Chestnut Cottage has three steps up to the front door, but it is our most accessible cottage as there is a paved walkway round to the rear for wheelchair access. There is a removable ramp which can be used at the rear patio doors of Chestnut Cottage.

BLACKBERRY SHEPHERD'S HUT

The shepherd's hut is accessed via decking steps and is unsuitable for wheelchair access. There is a walk-in shower in the ensuite bathroom, although the area is smaller than an average bathroom..
