Infants under the age of two who would sleep in a cot are excluded from these numbers.

    2. Blackberry Shepherd's Hut is for maximum 2 adults ONLY. No children of any age are permitted to stay in Blackberry under any circumstances.

    3. If you arrive for your booking with more than the numbers stated then the extra people will be asked to leave the site completely. We also reserve the right to cancel your booking immediately as a breach of our Terms and ask the whole party to leave. No refund will be given for your booking.

    4. Day visitors may join you on site by agreement with the owners. Visitors must report to Reception on arrival and a day fee of £10 per adult is payable. All guests must vacate the premises by midnight.

  4. The person making the booking must be over the age of 18 and is responsible for:

    1. the payment;

    2. reimbursement of any breakages or damage;

    3. the care of the use of the cottage, surrounding areas, swimming pool and the hot tubs;

    4. the responsibility of any children in the party.

  6. The maximum stay is 28 days.

  7. To respect our other guests and our neighbours, please no loud noise or music between 11pm and 7am.

  8. Guests staying in the shepherd's hut will be given a bag of wood on arrival for the log burner and/or fire pit. Further bags and firelighters may be purchased at Reception if we have any in stock, or in local shops.

  9. Two dogs are permitted in each property. Dogs must be kept on a lead when on the grounds outside the cottages, except if they are being walked by a responsible adult in the top field. Dogs may not be left alone in your cottage unless they are in a crate.

  10. Due to our location, surrounded by farmland and protected areas, no fireworks or sky lanterns are allowed to be set off anywhere on our property.

  11. All vehicles and their accessories and contents and all personal items and baggage in the cottages are left at their owner’s risk. No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, death, sickness or injury howsoever caused which may be sustained during the holiday to the guest or any member of the party, or invited person, or any vehicle and its contents, or any possession of the guest or any member of the party as defined above.

  12. Any items left behind anywhere on site after you leave will be kept for two weeks and then disposed of as appropriate.

  13. Parents/Guardians must take responsibility for their children and must be present when children:

    1. play at their own risk

    2. handle or feed any animals at their own risk

    3. use the swimming pool and hot tubs at their own risk.

  14. The main cottage heating is by Economy 7 storage heater. Supplemental heating is by separate electric heaters, so please be considerate.

  15. The swimming pool is for the sole use of Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages guests. There is no lifeguard, therefore all persons using the pool do so at their own risk. Children must be accompanied by an adult swimmer and parents/guardians must accept full responsibility for their safety. Guests must sign a waiver form on arrival. The gate must be closed after entering/leaving the pool area and no glass bottles or cups may be taken in to the pool area. If the swimming pool has to be closed for servicing, maintenance or break-down, the gate will be locked.

    The swimming pool is normally open from May to September each year, with some leeway at either side of the season depending on weather. Please be aware that the swimming pool is outdoor and it is a large body of water to heat. The heating is solar power supplemented by an air source heat pump and while we make every effort to have the water at a good temperature from the beginning of May until the end of September, this is only possible if the weather is reasonable. It is not possible to attain a good water temperature if the ambient temperature is cold; that is to say, as fast as we are warming the water up, the air is cooling it down again. Therefore at the beginning and at the end of the season, while the pool will be open, we do not offer any guarantee as to the temperature of the water. If you are coming at this time and would definitely like to use the pool then we suggest wet suits or similar may assist. Refunds or compensation are not payable if the swimming pool is not accessible for any period during your stay.

  16. Hot tubs are sited at Cosy Cottage, Chestnut Cottage, Oak Cottage, Maple Cottage, and Blackberry Shepherd's Hut only and are for the exclusive use of guests staying in those properties and members of their party. Ash Cottage and Cherry Cottage do not have hot tubs.

    1. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult at all times and parents/guardians must accept full responsibility for their safety.

    2. Children under the age of four should not be permitted in the hot tub as the water is too hot for their safety.

    3. Guests must acknowledge the hot tub waiver on arrival.

    4. The cover must always be replaced and steps removed away from the hot tub spas when not in use to avoid danger.

    5. Guests use the hot tubs at their own risk and therefore take full responsibility for any accidents.

    6. One person will be asked to be responsible for the hot tub to ensure that all pumps and lights are switched off and the hot tub cover replaced after use to conserve the heated water and to avoid danger of children or animals entering the hot tub unattended.

    7. No glass bottles or glasses may be used in or around the hot tubs. Plastic goblets are provided for your use.

    8. The hot tubs are monitored and tested daily. If a hot tub has to be closed for servicing, maintenance or break-down, a notice will be attached.

    9. Refunds are not payable if a hot tub is not accessible for any reason for any period during your stay.

  17. In order to comply with current Fire Regulations please note the following:

    1. Guests are not permitted to light candles/tea lights or have naked flames of any kind inside the cottages.

    6. You may not charge e-bikes, e-vehicles, or e-scooters anywhere on site. There are several charging points in the local area; at Poppit Sands, St Dogmaels car park, Penrallt Garden Centre, and Tesco, Cardigan.

    8. No rubbish or other obstacles should be left in fire exit routes.

    10. No guests under the age of 18 may be left alone in the cottages at any time or for any reason.

  18. Check in time is 3pm on the day of arrival and check out time is 10am on the day of departure.

  19. Please leave the property in the same state and condition as when you arrived. We reserve the right to make an additional charge per cottage for failure to comply to our terms and conditions of booking, including but not limited to removal and theft of items, or failure to leave the cottage in the same state and condition as found at arrival.

  20. If you have booked more than one cottage please ensure that all crockery, cutlery and utensils which may have moved between cottages are returned to the cottage they came from. Bookings are accepted on the condition that all reasonable care is taken of the cottage(s) and contents and the surrounding communal areas.

  21. No toiletries, wet wipes, etc should be flushed down the toilets as they cause blockages and call-outs will be charged.

  22. Wifi is offered free of charge. The owners are not responsible for any technical difficulties that may arise resulting in the disruption of the service.

  23. All descriptions, advertisements and representations are made in good faith, but the owners reserve the right to make changes or alterations to the property as they deem necessary.

  24. We have the right of entry to any of the properties for the purposes of inspection or to carry out necessary repairs or maintenance. We reserve the right to repossess the property if damage has been caused. These circumstances will be treated as a cancellation by you.

  25. Failure to comply with any of these Terms will be treated as a cancellation by you. In this situation you may be asked to vacate our property and no refund will be given for any remainder of your booking.

  26. We reserve the right to amend our terms without prior notice.
